What we collect and why
Enquiry forms. When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address and, if you provide them, your phone number, postcode and the details of the job. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote. Enquiries are delivered to us by email using Resend, our email delivery provider.
Chat assistant. Our website chat is an AI assistant. Messages you type are processed by Google's Gemini service to generate replies. If you choose to leave your name, phone number and email for a callback, those details are emailed to our team so we can contact you. Please do not enter sensitive information into the chat.
Payments. Card and Direct Debit payments are processed by Stripe. Payment details are entered on Stripe's secure pages; we never see or store your card or bank details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment process.
Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics data about you is stored.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies without consent. A single preference is stored in your browser to remember your cookie choice, and the chat assistant stores its conversation in your browser session so it survives page changes. These stay on your device.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or trade your personal information. It is shared only with the service providers named above (Resend, Google, Stripe) to the extent needed to operate the website, and with no one else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any work that follows from it, in line with normal business record-keeping. Chat conversations are not stored on our servers.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted where we no longer need it. Email [email protected] and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
